Our AA “Eggcup Award Winning” Hearty Scottish and vegetarian breakfasts are cooked to order from fresh, local produce and are prepared to suit your taste. Generous home cooked portions are designed to set you up for an action-packed day exploring our magnificent city.

Our experienced chef has worked on the royal cruise ship Queen Elizabeth II, as well as in several renowned Edinburgh Hotels. Design your own breakfast by selecting from the ingredients listed.

FOR STARTERS:

Selection Of Cereals: Muesli, Bran flakes, cornflakes and rice crispies
or
Hot Steamed Porridge: Oats are soaked in water overnight for that extra special taste - served with brown sugar and raisins

Juice Selection: Orange or Pink Grapefruit Juice (served in a frosted glass)

TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH, CHOICE OF:

Eggs: Fried, Poached, Scrambled or Boiled (to your Preferred time)

From the grill: Bacon, Sausage, Tomato (marinated overnight in ground nut oil and fresh garden thyme)

Extras: Crombies haggis and black pudding, not forgetting beans and pan fried potato scone.

WE ALSO DO AN EXCELLENT VEGETARIAN SELECTION:

Eggs: Choices are as above

From the grill: Soya Bacon, vegetarian sausages, McSweens vegetarian haggis, tomato (prepared as above)

Extras: Once again, not forgetting beans and pan fried potato scone.

Fresh Scottish smoked salmon: Served in our own style with scrambled eggs and a wedge of lemon

Toasted bagel: served with cream cheese and smoked salmon and wedge of lemon

Toasted bagel: served with cream cheese.

Scottish Smoked haddock: (poached) and served with a poached egg

Scottish mini pancakes: dusted with cinnamon and icing sugar and accompanied with cream, maple syrup and lemon (for those with a sweet tooth)

Warm croissants: with cream cheese

Scottish mature cheddar: served with highland oatcakes and Victorian chutney
